The Wellsboro Lady Hornet Track team swept a tri-meet with Williamson and Northeast Bradford while the boys split the meet on Tuesday, April 25.
The girls beat Northeast Bradford 84-63 and Williamson 85-63. Northeast Bradford also beet Williamson in the girls meet, 73-61.
Wellsboro's boys beat Northeast Bradford 93-56 and fell to Williamson, 82-68. The Williamson boys beat Northeast Bradford 128-18.
Senior Kate DeCamp was 2nd in the 100m (14.34) and 3rd in the 200m (30.41), freshman Alyssa Chilson (1:21.16) was 4th in the 400m, senior Madeline Gage (5:56.79) was 3rd in the 1600m, and junior Madison Robbins (16:46.20) was 3rd in the 3200m. Junior Sara Seeling (19.02) and senior Liliana Cuneo (19.13) took the top two spots in the 100m hurdles and Seeling won the 300m hurdles in 54.24.
Wellsboro won the 4x100m (58.09), was 3rd in the 4x400m (5:53.59) and 2nd in the 4x800m (13:06.96).
Freshamn Kristina Belz (4-ft, 8) won the high jump with sophomore Annie Gehman in 2nd (4-ft, 8), freshman Megan Mosher (5-ft, 6) and freshman Brooke Wheeler (5-ft, 6) took the top two spots in the pole vault, Gehman won the long jump (15-ft, 7) with Belz (13-ft, 4) in 3rd, and Gehman won the triple jump (34-ft, 5) with senior Alyssa Bisbing (27-ft, 3) in 3rd.
Junior Hannah Gilmour (26-ft, 2.5) and junior Grace Harlan (25-ft, 5) were 3rd and 4th in the shot put, Gilmour won the discus (82-ft, 2.5), and freshman Rowan Butters (67-ft, 7) was 5th in the javelin.
For the boys freshman Jonathan Carl was 2nd in the 100m (12.13), sophomore Micaiah Fitch (26.5) was 4th in the 200m, Carl won the 400m (52.49), freshman Jude Cuneo (2:16.95) was 4th in the 800m, freshman Max Macias (5:04.85) was 6th in the 1600m, and freshman Henry Whitney (12:26.89) was 8th in the 3200m. Sophomore Micah Vickery (16.94) and and junior Nehemiah Burrous (20.55) were 2nd and 3rd in the 110m hurdles, and Vickery (45.61) was 3rd in the 300m hurdles with Burrous (51.98) in 4th.
The Hornets were 4th in the 4x100m (53.77), 3rd in the 4x400m (3:56.22) and 3rd in the 4x800m (9:47.43).
Senior Kyle Mosher hit a new personal best in the high jump clearing 6-ft, 3 to take 1st. Vickery (5-ft, 6) was 2nd in the high jump, sophomore Gabe Carpenter (10-ft) and senior Spencer Wetzel (9-ft, 6) were 2nd and 3rd in the pole vault, senior Aiden Gehman (19-ft, 10) and Fitch (18-ft, 1) were 1st and 2nd in the long jump, and Gehman (37-ft, 9.75) won the triple jump. Senior Wyatt Gastrock (34-ft, 3) and junior Noah Morey (34-ft) took the top two spots in the shot put, Gastrock (116-ft, 9) won the discus, and Morey (129-ft, 1) junior Watson Feil (128-ft, 11.5) and Gastrock (123-ft, 4) swept the javelin.
The teams are back on the track for their final regular season meet next Tuesday, May 2 at home against North Penn-Mansfield and Northeast Bradford.
