Hornets Fall 49-21 To Elmira

Wellsboro dropped a non-league match to Elmira, 49-21, on Wednesday, January 31.
Elmira scored forfeits at 107, 114, 121, 133, and 145 lbs. then took matches at 127 lbs., 139 lbs., 189 lbs., and 285 lbs.
Junior Silas Mickey pinned Scott Fairbanks at 152 lbs. in 5:05, junior Jacob Dean won a 6-2 decision against Matthew Brown at 160 lbs., junior Ryder Bowen earned a 1:16 pin fall over Mason Mack at 172 lbs., and sophomore Hayden Stevens won in 5:07 by fall against Zahkye Jenkins at 215 lbs.
The loss drops the Hornets to 5-15 on the year. They will be back in action tonight at Coudersport.
