Lady Hornets Drop Season-Opener To Montgomery

The Wellsboro Girls Tennis team was swept 5-0 in their season-opening, non-league match to Montgomery on Tuesday, August 20.

Madisyn Miller def. Evelyn Wetherbee 6-1, 6-1
Doubles Results
Madison Budman / Ava Hartman def. Piper Anderegg / Rowan Butters 7-5, 6-1
Arianna Snyder / Emily Miller def. Kyleigh Lynn / Angela Cory 6-2, 6-2
The loss drops the Lady Hornets to 0-1 to start the year. The team is back in action tomorrow against Cowanesque Valley.
