The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Wyalusing 3-0 to run their win streak to four games to start the season on Thursday, September 5.
The Lady Hornets won 25-12, 25-23, and 25-16. Wellsboro's JV team also swept Wyalusing 2-0, winning 25-10 and 25-23.
Sophomore Madison Cruttenden led the team with 20 points (5 aces) and 15 digs. Sophomore Blake Eckart had 12 digs, 6 points (1 ace) and 2 kills, senior Paige Logsdon had 9 points (5 aces) and 2 kills, senior Lexi Urena had 7 kills, junior Taylor Main had 9 assists, and sophomore Ellie Largey made 2 assists. Logsdon had 2 solo and 2 assisted blocks and junior LeAnna Fuentes recorded 2 assisted blocks.
The Lady Hornets are back in action next Tuesday at rival North Penn-Liberty.
