Lady Warriors Fall To NEB, 9-6

Canton softball made it close with NEB but ultimately fell 9-6 in NTL action.

They were down 4-0 but cut it to 4-3 in the fourth, only to see the Panthers out score them 5-3 the rest of the way.

Tara Gilbert (2-for-4) had a double with 2-RBI and a run scored, as Tiffany Acla (2-for-4) drove in two runs.

Jaylee Ward (2-for-3) scored twice, Addi Pepper (2-for-4) had an RBI with Rylin Graham (1-for-4) scoring twice while driving one in.

Chelsea Lehman (1-for-4) scored a run, as well.

Gilbert took the loss, striking out five with eight hits, three walks, nine runs, two of which were earned.
