Lady Warriors Put Together Big 4th Inning To Defeat Millville

Canton used an 11-run fourth inning to pull away from Millville, 17-1 in four innings, during non-league softball action.
Neveah Vroman (2-for-4) had a double and scored four times for Canton with Addie Pepper (2-for-4) also getting a double with three runs scored, and 2-RBI.
Tara Gilbert (2-for-3) scored a run while driving in two, while Rylin Graham (2-for-3) had 2-doubles with 4-RBI.
Audrey Bastion (1-for-3) had a double with a run scored, and an RBI, as Chelsea Lehman (1-for-4) scored twice and drove in a run.
Jaylee Ward scored three times with Tiffany Acla scoring and driving in a run.
Riley Gowin and Cyra Hugo both crossed home, as well.
Gilbert got the start, and the win, going three hitless innings, with five strikeouts and three walks. Acla pitched the fourth with two strikeouts, two walks, and one earned run.
