Montgomery Holds On To Defeat Canton, 19-6

Canton fell in a close one to Montgomery, 19-16, during NTL football action.
Bailey Gardner ran the ball 13 times for 83-yards with two scores while Ben Fitch had 17 carries for 88-yards. Aydin Holcomb added 28-yards on four touches.
Fitch was 3-for-9 for 17-yards from the air with Holcomb hauling in two catches for 20-yards.
Down 6-0 Gardner ran one in from 44-yards to tie the game up.
Montgomery then built a 19-6 lead, which Canton chipped away at.
First they made it a 6-point game with a Gardner 6-yard run, then saw Alexis McRoberts hit a field goal to make it a 3-point game.
Canton was stopped on the goal line, and missed another field goal in the second half.
