Sens Finishes 7th In Shot Put At PIAA Championships

Avery Sens finished seventh in the boys' Class AA shot put at the PIAA Track and Field Championships.
Sens threw 51-feet, 4 1/4-inches to get on the podium.
"It feels really good to be out here and competing at the highest level," Sens said about getting the medal.
Troy's Alyssa Parks just missed the medals in the 300 hurdles, taking 12th in 47.04.
Ben Warburton took 13th in the long jump with a best of 21-feet, 2 3/4-inches. That came on his first attempt.
Troy's 4x100 relay of Charles Oldroyd, Warburton, Colin Loveland, and Jacob Hinman took 32nd in 45.06.
