Troy had two District IV champions and several other medalists at the first day of the Track and Field Championships.
Avery Sens threw 52-feet to win the shot put title, while Ben Warburton jumped 22-feet, 11 1/4-inches to win the long jump title.
"It feels really good after not doing as well as I was supposed to last year," remarked Sens. "It feels really good to come back and succeed."
"It feels good," Warburton said about being the district champ. "I feel more upset that I couldn't go 1-2 with Colin (Loveland), but I've been working pretty hard in the off-season and I'll continue to work hard this off-season."
Loveland took fifth at 20-feet, 8-inches.
Also on the boys' side the 4x800 relay of Hart Houseknecht, Brody Campbell, Evan Geer, and Mason Wulff took eighth in 8:34.49.
