Trojan Track Team Sweeps North Penn, Northern Potter; Girls Split In Season Opener

The Troy boys' track and field team racked up 122 points as they swept North Penn-Mansfield (46.5) and Northern Potter (19.5) in track and field dual meet action. The Lady Trojans (86) lost to North Penn-Mansfield (96) but beat NoPo (4).

Avery Sens (126-feet, 8-inches) and Camden Coyle (109-feet, 4-inches) went 1-2 in the javelin. Sens won the shot put in 45-feet, 7-inches with Kael Millard (36-feet, 1-inch) second.

Sens would get a clean sweep of the throws, taking the discus in 96-feet, 6-inches, followed by teammates Zeepelin Tharp (91-feet, 1-inch) and Coyle (89-feet, 7-inches).

Colin Loveland won the long jump (21-feet, 7 1/2-inches) and the triple jump (42-feet, 1-inch.) Ben Warburton (20-feet, 6-inches) was second in the long jump.

Rylan Breidt won the 110 hurdles in 19.87 and was second in the 300 hurdles at 49.46. Emmit Cole (22.68) was second in the 110 hurdles.

The Trojan 4x800 relay won in 9:17.65, their 4x400 relay won in 3:43.49, and their 4x100 relay won in 45.29.

Warburton (12.02) and Charles Oldroyd (12.11) went 1-2 in the 100, as Jacob Hinman (54.71) and Mason Wulff (55.11) went 1-2 in the 400. Evan Geer (2:22.13) was second in the 800.

Hinman (24.16) and Warburton (24.56) went 1-2 in the 200, as Brody Campbell (11:45.79) and Hart Houseknecht (11:47.88) went 2-3 in the 3200.

Kendrick Ross (5-feet, 10-inches) won the high jump followed by teammate Cameron Morey (5-feet, 6-inches).

Troy went 1-2-3 in the pole vault with Houseknecht (8-feet), Ben Osgood (8-feet), as Alex Breidt (6-feet) and Logan Prouty (6-feet) tied for third.

On the girls' side Troy's Alyssa Parks (50.94) and Kylee Roy (53.22) went 1-2 in the 300 hurdles as Madelyn Seeley (107-feet, 4-inches) won the javelin. Bella Wood (62-feet, 9-inches) came in third.

Roy (18.72) won the 100 hurdles with Katie Graham (22.24) second. Katie Lackey (5:56.17) was second in the 1600.

Troy's 4x100 relay won 55.03 as Haylie Davis-Grove won the 400 in 1:09.60. Troy's 4x400 relay also won in 4:36.11.

Lackey (2:52.35) and Natalie Williams (3:15.13) went 1-2 in the 800, as Parks (4-feet, 10-inches) won the high jump. Mae Hassan (3-feet, 10-inches) was third.

Parks led a Troy sweep in the pole vault at 7-feet, 6-inches. She was followed by Graham (6-feet), and Williams (5-feet, 6-inches).

Emma Mickley (24-feet, 2-inches) was third in the shot put, and second in the discus at 65-feet, 10 1/2-inches).

Ella Lawton (66-feet, 4-inches) was second in the discus, as Parker Lee (12-feet, 10 1/2-inches) was third in the long jump. Hassan (24-feet, 9 1/2-inches) was third in the triple jump.
