Troy scored on six of their seven offensive possessions as they overcame a pesky Wyalusing team to win 41-6 in NTL football action.

Three of Wyalusing's first four possessions went over eight minutes as they tried to play keep away from Troy. They did hold Troy to just three first half possessions as the Trojans led 14-6 at the break.

After scoring a late third quarter touchdown the dam broke in the fourth with three scores as they pulled away.

Evan Woodward accounted for four of the six Trojan touchdowns, throwing an efficient 7-for-10 for 143-yards and two touchdowns through the air, while running the ball five times for 73-yards and two scores.

Mason Smith had two touchdowns on the day - one rushing and one receiving - hauling in three passes for 94-yards, while running the ball three times for 54-yards.

Troy struck late in the first with a 1-yard Woodward run to make it 7-0 after the Gavin Lykon-Leffler kick.

After Wyalusing answered with a touchdown run of their own Gilliland ran one in from 16-yards out for a 14-6 lead after Lykon-Leffler's kick.

Mason Smith made it 20-6 with a 5-yard run with 51 seconds left in the third.

In the fourth, though, Troy got their offense rolling. Woodward hit Reed Palmer for a 15-yard pass to make it 27-6 after the extra point.

Woodward then had a 28-yard run less than two minutes later for a 33-6 lead. Troy put the finishing touches on it 34 seconds later as Woodward hit Smith for a 66-yard touchdown strike.
