Troy used a hot shooting first quarter to jump out on North Penn-Mansfield, and let their defense do most of the work the rest of the way, beating the Tigers 70-59 during NTL boys' basketball action.
Troy led 28-21 at the end of the first frame, and led by as many as 19 points in the third quarter. Mansfield would cut it to a 10-point deficit halfway through the fourth, but couldn't get any closer.
Jack Burbage had another big game, netting 30 points to go with seven boards and three steals. He had 24 of his team's 45 points at the half.
Evan Woodward added 12 points to go with five assists and two steals, as Lincoln Chimics had nine points, five boards, and two steals.
Colin Loveland added eight points and eight assists, with Lance Heasley and Joseph Frye getting five points each. Frye also had three steals, with Jackson Taylor chipping in behind one point, seven boards, four assists, and four steals.
