Troy swept Wellsboro in baseball double-header action, beating the Hornets 12-2 in five innings for both games.
In the first game Camden Allen (3-for-4) and Mason Smith (3-for-4) combined for 6-for-10 on the day. Allen had a double, two runs scored, and 4-RBI as Smith scored twice and drove in a run.
Reed Palmer (2-for-3) had two doubles, two runs scored, and 2-RBI, with Brendan Gilliland (1-for-3) scoring three times to go with three steals.
Lincoln Chimics (1-for-3) scored twice and drove in a run, with Clayton Smith (1-for-1) walking twice and getting an RBI.
Joseph Frye (1-for-3) and Jackson Taylor each had an RBI as Harwick scored a run.
Harwick had seven strikeouts, four walks, two runs, and two walks to get the win.
In the second game Palmer (3-for-4) and Clayton Smith (3-for-4) combined for 6-for-8. Palmer had 2-RBI with Clayton scoring a run.
Taylor (2-for-2) scored three times as Mason Smith (2-for-4) scored twice, and drove in four runs. Gilliland (1-for-4) scored twice and had 3-RBI with Harwick (2-for-4) also crossing home twice.
Allen (1-for-2) and Frye (1-for-4) both scored as Chimics drove in a run.
Palmer started and went the first three innings to get the win. He struck out two with three walks, three hits, and no runs.
Trey Teribury pitched the fourth, with one strike out as he retired the side.
Frye tossed the fifth with two strikeouts, two hits, and two walks.
