Trojans Win Lasagna Invite Team Title

The Troy boys track and field team won the Lasagna Invitational title, while the boys and girls won the combined team title.

The Trojans scored 105.5 points as they were led by champions - Ben Warburton (21-feet, 1/2-inch) in the long jump, and Avery Sens (49-feet, 5-inches) in the shot put.

Also for Warburton, he was fifth in the 100 (11.75) and in the 200 (23.79), with Sens taking second in the javelin (138-feet, 3-inches), and sixth in the discus (121-feet, 1-inch).

Their 4x400 relay team of Mason Wulff, Evan Geer, Colin Loveland, and Jacob Hinman won in another thriller at 3:32.02.

The 4x100 relay team of Charles Oldroyd, Warburton, Loveland, and Hinman took second in 44.37, which is a new school record.

Their 4x800 team of Hart Houseknecht, Brody Campbell, Geer, and Wulff took third in 8:54.20.

Loveland was third in the triple jump at 41-feet, 7-inches while taking fourth in the long jump in 20-feet, 5 1/2-inches.

Hinman was third in the 400 in 51.74, and fourth in the 200 at 23.66, as Kendrick Ross was second in the high jump at 6-feet even.

Cameron Morey as fifth in the high jump in 5-feet, 8-inches, Houseknecht was fifth in the pole vault at 10-feet, Oldroyd took sixth in the 100 in 11.75, Wulff was eighth in the 400 in 53.72, and Geer was eighth in the 800 in 2:08.80.

On the girls' side Madelyn Seeley won the javelin title in 106-feet, while Alyssa Parks was second in the 300 hurdles (48.83), tied for fourth in the high jump (4-feet, 8-inches), and took sixth in pole vault at 8-feet, 6-inches.

Kylee Roy was third in the 300 hurdles (49.61) and fifth in the 100 hurdles (18.12). Parker Lee took eighth in the long jump at 14-feet, 11 3/4-inches.

The 4x100 relay team of Roy, Seeley, Ellie Spalding, and Maddy Keeney took sixth in 53.78.
