Urena Surpasses 500 Career Digs In Sweep Of CV

Senior Lexi Urena surpassed the 500 dig milestone as the Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Cowanesque Valley on Thursday, October 10.
The Lady Hornets won 25-19, 25-17, and 25-13. They also won the JV game 2-0 (25-8, 25-13).
Urena had 6 digs to bring her career total to 534. She also recorded 11 kills and scored 4 points (2 aces). Sophomore Ellie Largey had 13 assists, senior Paige Logsdon had 9 kills, junior Taylor Main scored 13 points, had 11 assists and 9 digs, and sophomore Blake Eckart had 6 kills.
Sophomore Madison Cruttenden led Wellsboro with 23 points (4 aces) and 12 digs.
Wellsboro (13-3, 10-1 NTL Large School Division) travels to Williamson on Tuesday.
