Canton volleyball comes up short in five sets to Williamson during NTL action.
Canton took the first set 26-24 but lost the next two 25-21 and 25-22. They battled back for a 25-18 fourth set win, but fell 15-7 in the deciding game.
Kendall Kitchen had a double-double of 17 points and 50 digs to go with one ace, two kills, and four assists as Cailyn VanNoy also had a double-double of 10 points and 16 digs, plus two aces, two kills, and one assist.
MaKenna Seachrist had a double-double of 11 points and 10 kills, while adding four blocks, two digs, and two aces, with Addi Pepper getting 21 assists, five digs, seven kills, seven points, and an ace.
Tara Gilbert had 17 points, four aces, eight digs, one kill, and one assist, Danah Wesneski notched 14 points, two aces, four kills, and seven digs, as Addy Cardona finished with two kills, and a block.
Canton lost the JV match 2-0, 27-25 and 25-11.
Nevaeh Vroman had 12 digs, four assists, one kill, and an ace as Kate Berry had an ace with four assists.
Wesneski finished with five kills, as Cardona had four, with Emilia Pepper getting three digs. Ashley Valera had four digs, and Jericka Strozyk finished with an ace and a dig.
