Since 2018, he has served as the cross country chairman and has served a sthe District IV Athletic Director's Treasurer/Secretary since 2012.
Boyer earned his CAA certification from NIAAA in 2015 and became a certified Human Kinetics Instructor for Coaching Principles and Sports First Aid where he has conducted classes for coaches and volunteers from all over District IV since 2017.
