Frye Throws One-Hitter To Blank Sayre

Joseph Frye tossed a 1-hitter as Troy blanked Sayre, 10-0 in six innings, during NTL baseball action Monday.
Frye struck out six with two walks, and one hit by pitch as the only base runners for the Redskins.
Troy jumped out with five runs in the first, then added one in the second. They added two in the fifth, and then scored three in the sixth to finish off the win.
Jack Burbage (2-for-3) had a double with 3-RBI as Camden Allen (2-for-4) scored twice with 3-RBI. Lincoln Chimics (1-for-3) had a double, two runs, and an RBI, with Reed Palmer (1-for-3) scoring twice while adding an RBI, and a triple.
Frye (1-for-2) scored twice, and drove in a run, as Brendan Gilliland crossed home twice, and Trey Teribury (2-for-3) had a multi-hit game.
