Lady Mounties Score Twice In 7th Inning To Edge Troy, 3-2

A 2-run seventh inning propelled North Penn-Liberty past Troy, 3-2, during NTL Large School softball action.

It was scoreless until the bottom of the fourth when Troy pushed a run across, then added another in the fifth.

NPL got one back in the sixth, then tacked on two more in the seventh for the 1-run win.

Lauren Ridall (3-for-3) had a double with a run scored, as Olivia Champluvier (1-for-3) also crossed home.

Madi Palmer (1-for-3), and Erinn Knapp each had an RBI, with Kali Ayres (1-for-4) getting a hit.

Knapp went 6 2/3-innings in the loss, striking out eight with one walk, four hits, and three earned runs. Champluvier got the final out.
