Milton To Host Throwing And Coaching Clinic With Olympic Trials Finalist Kim Hamilton

The Milton Area High School would like to extend an invitation to local coaches to attend a coaching clinic along with a javelin clinic for athletes featuring Kim Hamilton, (All-American Softball Player, Olympic Trials Finalist in the Javelin, and Owner/operator of Platform Sports Academy. Kim will provide teaching and coaching tips that she has learned from tops coaches and mentors from around the world, that she used to compete at the highest levels of her sports during her elite amateur career.

The clinic will run as an open forum to address the questions and concerns not only with softball and Javelin, but development of mental, physical and technical preparation of our athletes. Sports, like anything, evolves and renews over time. Having Kim come to us, gives us the opportunity to hit the refresh button, updating us to become better coaches, to mentor our teams/athletes to find their true potential.

Bring your questions and dilemmas and allow us to help you find resolutions.

The coaches clinic will take place on Wednesday, March 12th from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The cost is $50 per coach, or $150.00 for five (5) coaches from the same school. The deadline to enroll is Monday, March 10. Download then enrollment form and follow the instructions to reserve your spot.

In addition to the coaches clinic, Kim is also hosting a javelin clinic at Milton on Saturday, March 15th from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 to 3:30 p.m. Throwers should bring their own javelins and spikes if they have them. The cost is $50 per athlete. The deadline to sign up is Thursday, March 13.
