Smith Accounts For Six Touchdowns In 42-13 Win Over South Williamsport

Mason Smith ran for 241 yards and four touchdowns, while passing for two scores in Troy's 42-13 win over South Williamsport in NTL football action Friday.

The Trojans rushed for 342 yards in total as they took a 21-6 lead at the half. They put the game away with two third quarter touchdowns.

Smith had just 13 carries to get those marks, while going 3-for-5 for 58-yards in the air.

Kael Millard added 49-yards on eight touches, while Jayden Kutt had eight carries for 34 yards.

Josiah Pesesky and Roland Smith had the two touchdown catches.

Smith opened the scoring with an 88-yard run with 47 seconds left in the opening quarter. Gavin Lykon-Leffler added the point after for a 7-0 lead.

A 57-yard Smith run in the second made it 14-0 after the Lykon-Leffler kick.

After the Mounties cut it to 14-6 a 3-yard Smith run with 36 seconds left in the half put the Trojans up 21-6 after Lykon-Leffler's kick.

Smith then hit Pesesky (36 yards) and Roland Smith (19 yards) for touchdown strikes to make it 42-6.
