Trojans Pull Away From Bloomsburg With Big 4th Quarter To Advance To D4 Class 3A Semi-Finals

Troy boys out scored Bloomsburg 19-10 in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 68-55 win over Bloomsburg in the opening round of the District IV, Class AAA playoffs.
The Trojans led 33-30 at the half, but Bloomsburg would take a 38-33 lead early in the third. Troy responded with a 9-0 run to go up 42-38, and never led after that.
A 10-0 to start the fourth saw them push the lead to double digits. Bloomsburg cut it to seven midway through the fourth, but the Trojans ended the game on a 6-0 spurt to secure the win.
Jack Burbage had a big night with a double-double of 30 points and 14 boards, while Woodward chipped in with 12 points, six assists, five boards, three blocks, and plenty hustle plays that were momentum changers.
Spencer Martin had 11 points off the bench - including three of the team’s four 3-balls - while adding four assists, as Lincoln Chimics had eight points, four boards, and three assists.
Joseph Frye netted four points to go with six assists, and two blocks, as Trey Teribury added three points.
