Troy Girls Take First Set, Ultimately Fall To Wellsboro, 3-1

Troy took the first set but Wellsboro won the next three as they pulled out a 3-1 win over the Trojans in NTL volleyball action Tuesday.

Troy won the first game 25-20, but lost the next three 25-22, 25-18, and 25-23.

Brenna Jackson earned her 500th career dig and 1,000th career assist during the match.

Jackson ended up with 22 assists, four kills, one ace, 13 digs, and a block, as Haidyn Watson had eight digs, 10 kills, and one ace.

Aryana Andrus finished with 11 kills, three aces, and six blocks as Alli Bailey had 11 digs, four kills, one assist, and one ace.

Alexa Lawrence had 10 digs, one block, five kills, one assist, and two aces, and Amber White had two digs, two blocks, three kills, and an ace.

Bella Wood had a kill as Liana Lyon had two digs, 11 assists, and two aces.
