ATHENS - Athens scored the first 20 points of the game and coasted to a 61-10 win over Sayre here Tuesday night in NTL girls basketball action.
The Wildcats used their pressing defense to pile up points early in the game, with junior McKenna Jarvis the main recipient of transition points. She scored 17 first-quarter points, including one 3-pointer.
Sophomore Brooklyn Roberts put the Redskins on the board with 1:48 remaining the in the first quarter to close the gap to 20-2.
