ATHENS - Wellsboro won 10 events to record wins over Athens, Canton, and Sayre in a quad meet here Wednesday afternoon in NTL girls track & field action at Alumni Stadium.

Wellsboro tallied 119 points on the day, while Athens had 90, Canton 42, and Sayre 7.

"Our veterans did a nice job - Abby Burgess had three really good races, Alissa Vough had really solid races in the 800 and 1600, Kaitlyn Leonard had a good night jumping, Elizabeth Denlinger had a good start in pole vault, Annika Lezak and Maleah Hadlock had some good throws and Lizzie Gorsline ran well in the 100 hurdles.
