Senior Hayden Stevens' career continues for another weekend following a 7th place finish at the District IV Championships at Williamsport on Friday and Saturday.
Stevens went 2-2 on the weekend. Friday evening he suffered a 19-4 tech fall to Mifflinburg's Landon Tucker, dropping him into the consolation bracket. He started out Saturday morning with a 1:53 pin over Milton's Keegan McCaffery. Stevens later was edged 6-5 in his second round consolation match against Hughesville's Colton Woolever.
Stevens closed out the day with a 16-1 tech fall over Montoursville's Zane Butler to make the podium and advance to next weekend's regional tournament, back at Williamsport.
