A rough third quarter doomed Troy against Towanda during NTL boys hoops action.
Towanda led 17-11 after one, with the Trojans chipping it away to 28-23 at the half.
A 12-4 third quarter in favor of the Black Knights put them up 40-27.
Troy responded with 15 fourth quarter points as they rallied, but the Knights had 18 points - going 7-for-10 from the free throw line.
Trey Teribury had 14 points, four boards, and two steals for the Trojans, as Josiah Pesesky added eight points, and 11 rebounds.
Aidan Lawrence came away with six points, and two steals, with Spencer Martin adding five points, and three assists.
Landon Cole notched four points, Evan Allen had three points, and Pryor Teribury finished with two points. Cameron Morey chipped in with four boards.
