Trojan Grapplers Win 8 Bouts Vs Wellsboro

WELLSBORO - Troy won eight matches as they out paced Wellsboro, 47-15, during NTL wrestling action Tuesday.

The Trojans got falls from Anthony Jordan (121), Keagan Kerr (133), Wilder Koch (145), and Hunter Watson (160), while Marcus Frisbie (139), Logunn Heasley (152), and Reed Palmer (285) scored forfeits.

Garret Parks (107) notched a 17-2 tech fall, as well.

For the Hornets Wyatt Kilburn (172) earned a 14-8 decision over Troy's Thomas Moon, as Hayden Stevens (215) scored a fall. Vaughan Shannon (127) had a forfeit.

Troy (4-8) will be at Williamson’s Battle on the Border Tournament this Saturday.
