Troy went 2-3 at the Flynn Duals on Saturday, tying for third with Sullivan County, and Delone Catholic.

Port Allegany won while the hosts Towanda took second.

"Overall, our coaching staff is very pleased with how our boys competed today," said Troy coach Tony Carter. "We knew the first couple matches were going to be tough match-ups for us, but we finished strong. Two things I love about our squad is the consistent effort they give, and how we responded to adversity. After losing our first couple of matches our boys could’ve decided to roll over. Instead, we finished 2-1 in our last three matches, and the loss to Delone Catholic came down to the very last match. It’s easy to build off a day like today."

Troy fell to Towanda (58-10), Port Allegany (54-9), and Delone Catholic (41-36), but beat Sullivan County (33-25), and Western Wayne (46-21).

Garret Parks went 5-0 to lead the Trojans as Reed Palmer finished 4-1.

Wilder Koch, and Logunn Heasley both went 3-2, as Hunter Watson, and Thomas Moon went 2-3. Anthony Jordan finished 2-1, as Keegan Kerr went 1-3.

Marcus Frisbie, and James Deakin both finished 1-4.

Against Towanda Parks (107) got a fall, while Palmer (285) scored a 15-3 major decision.
