This afternoon we received information that the Third Circuit Court of Appeals issued a stay of Judge Stickman\'s decision striking the Governor\'s COVID-19 restrictions in several areas. The most important for our purposes is the limitation on gatherings.

The PIAA Board of Directors voted this afternoon to permit fall sports to begin on Monday, August 24th, based on local school decisions.

The PIAA Board of Directors met this afternoon to review Governor Wolf’s statement strongly recommending no interscholastic and recreational sports until January 1st.
