As a freshman, Quinn Henry saw limited time. He rushed for 9 yards, caught 6 passes for 72 yards, and returned 4 kickoffs. Three years later, Henry scored his 100th career touchdown as the Wellsboro Hornets beat Montgomery 51-8 to improve to 8-0 on Friday, October 13.

The 1977 Wellsboro Varsity Football team will be honored at halftime of the Wellsboro and Wylausing football game on Friday, October 20, 2017 to commemorate the 40th reunion of the Hornets 2nd NTL Championship.

The Wellsboro Middle School Football team continued rolling along with a 35-8 victory over Montgomery on Thursday, October 5.

The Wellsboro JV Football team improved to 5-1 by shutting out Muncy 20-0 on Monday, October 2.
