Canton reached the quarterfinals at the Williamson Volleyball Tournament.

TIOGA JUNCTION, Pa. - Athens and Sayre both finished fourth in their pools, and were knocked out of bracket play in the quarterfinals of the Williamson Volleyball Tournament here Saturday.

Troy won the Williamson Volleyball Tournament title, beating the hosts in the finals 25-23, 25-17.

LIBERTY - Athens played powerhouse North Penn-Liberty close, but dropped a 3-0 decision here Thursday night in NTL Large School Division volleyball action.

After dropping the first set Troy went on to beat Towanda, 3-1, during NTL volleyball action.

Canton defeated CV 3-0 in their home opener in NTL volleyball action, winning the sets 25-17, 25-21, and 25-22.

The Wellsboro Varsity Volleyball team swept Wyalusing 3-0 to run their win streak to four games to start the season on Thursday, September 5.
